How do I find my phone’s OS Version number?

Android phones/tablets:

  2. From the “Settings” menu, tap or swipe to get to the “General” section.
  3. From this menu, scroll down until you find “About Device” or “About Phone” (varies by device).
  4. Finally, scroll down to the row that says “Version” or "Software Information" and you’ll find your device’s version number there.

iPhone®/iPad®:
  1. From your device’s home screen, tap the “Settings” icon.
  2. From the “Settings” menu, tap “General”.
  3. From this menu, tap “About”.
  4. Finally, scroll down to the row that says “Version” and you’ll find your device’s version number there.
